Student Competitions

Congratulations to our student Dimitra Christopoulos, from the South Melbourne Campus, for being a winner of the Antenna Pacific Xmas Drawing Competition with her drawing pictured above. Μπράβο Δήμητρα!  To see Dimitra's and all the other winning entries go to: https://www.antennaxmas.com/el/winners/winners-2020.html

I would also like to take this opportunity thank our teacher Mrs Eleni Valkanis for encouraging her students to take part in the Greek Public Speaking Festival coordinated and run by the Modern Greek Teachers Association of Victoria.  Evan Christou and Alexandra Mirabella did eventually submit entries. Evan managed to come second in the Grade 5 & 6 Division.  View his entry below. An outstanding effort! Εύγε Ευάγελλε!

Enjoy this collection of photos showcasing the amazing work our students produce each and every week!

Our students love working with technology. Check out this amazing iMovie created by our student Marianna on the life and times of Aliki Vougiouglaki, Greece's most famous film star. Students have been studying the unit called '100 Greatest Greeks of all time'. The unit is based on the documentary series produced by the Greek television channel SKAI. Students were asked to select one of the people mentioned in the series, research their life and put together an audiovisual presentation. Marianna chose Aliki Vougiouklaki and produced this extraordinary iMovie. Enjoy!
